The centre was opened in 2016 and accommodates Norsk tindemuseum (the Norwegian mountaineering museum), Norway’s highest indoor climbing wall with routes for everyone between 3 and 103 years, a caf Via Ferrata is a climbing route along the mountain. It has been given the name Migaren after the waterfall you need to cross along the way. The hike/climb goes partly along bolts and anchors in the mountain. Via Ferrata means walking on iron and is a name commonly used for these types of climbs in other countries as well.

It provides free Wi-Fi and all rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV and private bathroom with shower. The main street, Nordre Gate is 5 minutes’ walk away. A seating area and work desk are standard features in all guest rooms at P-Hotels Brattøra. Brattkort kreves hvis du skal sikre og klatre på led og topptau i Klatresenteret og de aller fleste klatresentrene i Norden. Det vil være maksimalt 6 deltakere pr.

Brattkort- og topptauprøvene er prøver hvor klatrere skal demonstrere at de har tilstrekkelige kunnskaper og sikringsferdigheter til å kunne opptre sikkert på innendørs klatrevegger. Prøven legges opp som en klatreøkt, der klatreren skal ta på utstyr uten hjelp, gjennomføre kameratsjekk og løpende sjekk, og sikre en annen klatrer under topptauing, leding og nedfiring.
